California Miramar University, one of the Top 10 MBA Schools in San Diego, California, has awarded the Outstanding Graduate Award to Annette Gregg, MBA. After considering all candidates, Annette was chosen by the university administration and faculty for her outstanding performance as student in the MBA Hybrid program. After graduating with a Masters in Business Administration from California Miramar University, Annette Gregg has become the Sr. Director of Global Marketing and Communications for Project Concern International. This new position brings immense responsibility leading marketing and communications for a global non-profit with 600 employees and $50M annual budget.
Annette stated, “After completing my MBA at California Miramar University, I was better prepared for my new position managing global marketing and communications for an organization operating in 16 countries. I am tasked with bringing enterprise-wide solutions to our growing company, and raising global awareness of our live-saving programs.”
Annette has turned her personal passion for helping others into a career with an organization that does life-saving work in 16 countries. Annette concluded that one of the most influential class at CMU was MBA International Business. She researched and wrote a paper on micro-finance programs in developing countries, exposing solutions for global poverty. Her MBA education and passion for helping others led directly to her finding her current position with PCI.
At age 30, Annette became the youngest senior executive in the history of the Los Angeles Convention Center, managing all event operations and a team of over 200. She then went onto run two companies--a global event management firm, and a destination marketing organization for a world-renowned resort destination. Completing her MBA at CMU helped define the next phase of her career and prepare her for leadership within a global organization.
